Sorry to hear about the hair inside. I did do laser 3 or 4 times before I went to Marci (and then 3-4 times after too).

As for scarring yeah.....interested to hear any solutions there too. I wax down there so you can definitely see the scars. My husband knows about my past and doesn't care though.

Still Marci's new method of putting the scars farther up in the groin itself (while making healing more difficult) sound really awesome now.

Hello,

There is one other way I've heard that might help: Enzyme based permanent hair reduction. This is not like Veet. These are strong creams that contain trypsin. If this works, and I can't verify it, then it might be your best option. Here are some links below to start doing your own research.

Hope that eventually it all works out. And even if you can't rid of it permanently, remember there's a good possibility that a lover would not even know. After all, it's probably not too many and they're probably tiny as well :)

Not an option, no salons in my area offering treatment. There is an electrologist 2 hours away from where I live that has experience treating such hairs. We'll see...I just don't get how one can clearly see the hairs and follicles inside.

Not tiny and there are many, trust me. I'm not exaggerating BUT when I'm very aroused and wet, you don't feel them as much.

Thanks Ruby. :)

In relation to hair, when you have mentioned internal hair, i am unsure if they are in the vaginal canal or just in the entry.

Personally I have some hair in the entry and i use hot wax once every few months. I have tried laser post-op, but the laser technicians will not go in the entry.

For scars, I have thought about camouflage tattooing and Fraxel laser.

Good luck with it all.

I feel that frequent intercourse 3 to 5 times per week or more would wear away hair. There is a lot of friction generated while having vaginal intercourse with a man. Try lots of sex in my opinion for hair to wear it away. :) Plus it is lots of fun with the right guy!

A reply from one electrologist re: hairs inside my vagina

"I'm going to be completely blunt, what you are asking to have done is a
difficult, perhaps unfeasible task that will be uncomfortable to  have
performed. I'll talk a little bit about the mechanics involved so you
understand"

"When SRS is performed with the penile inversion technique, the skin of
the penis is rolled inside  out. Hairs which normally grow Outward from
the body end up growing inward . This is important because when
electrolysis is performed, we must insert the needle in the direction of
the hair follicle, which is now pointed inward. If you look at the
diagram you will note the probe is bent at a sharp angle on the end of
the probe holder so that it faces the direction of the hair growth, and
can be "hooked" into the follicle. This is the difficulty you are
facing. For this reason I cannot imagine that electrolysis can be
performed beyond about an inch or two into the follicle ( the reach of
the probe with any accuracy).

In order to get the hair into view, drastic measures have to be taken,
and the use of a medical bench with stirrups, as well as a speculum is
required. It's possible with a speculum to remove it and relocate so
that different areas of the skin inside the neovagina are exposed for
treatment. It would however be an extremely uncomfortable position to be
in for the extended time required and would also require the
electrologist to reposition  frequently to access different areas, of
both you and themselves in order to gain access to work and see."

"There is little chance of complications from the treatment , I would use
thermolysis so there would be no lye which could change the ph balance
of the neovagina , however there is a high probability that we may find
the treatment lengthy, awkward, and uncomfortable ."

"I dont feel there is anything I can do to assist with
deeper growth, but within the first couple inches of depth should be
very feasible, if very awkward. I don't think  it wise to use lidocaine
cream and also suggest that the skin should be disturbed as little as
possible while electrolysis is being performed which would limit sexual
intercourse during that period."

"I also want to convey to you that I am very sorry you are experiencing
growth there, I feel Dr Brassard's clinic does a disservice to its
patients by recommending SRS without having done hair removal first. "

"In my discussions with other electrologists, the vast majority have advised
me they would not have the time to attempt such a case."

There should be lasers suitable for such purposes.

This is a description of one device:

    Applications:

hair removal, vascular lesion treatment, pigmented lesion treatment

There should be devices small enough to fit in, and power seems to be adjustable for different purposes.

You might aks at manufacturers and then if there are devices close to you.

Or you might ask at places doing hair/tatoo/scar removal etc.

"Also, this was around the time I started noticing hair inside the vagina. Yes, inside, about an inch or so deep. ... But, you know what I did. I stuck some tweezers up there and plucked them out. Yes, I did that and I could feel it too. It kinda hurt, and those were some really long hairs.."

(she says later she hasn't "noticed" any hair coming back after plucking)

There are numbing creams available. The electrologist or laser hair treatment centers might also have some.

Laura, the problem is these hairs are deep inside the cavity so neither plucking or laser would do anything as there would be no way to clearly see so deep inside unless a speculum and other instruments are used. And it will hurt as hell, lidocaine is not advised. In the end, not worth it!
