Therapists in NYC? (Besides Callen-Lorde)

Hey guys, so I've been questioning my gender for the past few months and would really like to find a good therapist knowledgeable about trans issues. I looked into Callen-Lorde but they only do in-house therapy if you are uninsured, so they gave me a list of therapists they refer insured people to. I called all of the ones that take my insurance and they wouldn't return my calls/didn't work with my schedule/had a full case load.

If at all possible, I would rather work with a therapist that a trans person can personally vouch for as opposed to randomly looking on Psychology Today.

Try the CABS healthcare Network. I went to a therapist there. They also helped me with other things for my transition.

I think CK Life in the Bronx does therapy. If they don't, they could give referrals, too.
