So I finally started HRT today! The doctor put me on of Estradiol,  in the morning, at night, and of Sprio,  in the morning and  at night! I'm so excited to finally have started :D When I took the pills, I had a calming feeling and a sense of relief, I'm still winding down, I never thought I'd see this day, but I'm so glad it's finally here!

mod edit no dosages please

Congratulations  :)

Well there are studies showing there are biological connections to being transgender...
there are differences in brains of women and men and transgender people have the brains of the gender they identify with...
its a spectrum so depending on severity there are people who kind of expect estrogen...
they kind of know it ... and feel relieved when they get it  ;)

I'd say enjoy your journey :)

many *hugs*

Congrats link and Jessica!!! ;D

I will be starting tomorrow (1st visit with the endo).
I have my letter of recommendation, blood work, and physical already done. Thanks therapist and PCP! <3

I'm going to ask for injections right from the start. I can't wait to feel the effects! I keep visualizing that surge of relief as the estrogen finally starts to enter my blood, and it begins to ease my dysphoria and I become true. ^^

xAmyX,

Welcome to the site,

Great to hear you will be starting soon. I do know that not all endocrinologists start(or even like)prescribing with injections. Good luck getting what you hope for.

I also wanted to share some introductory links, info and policies:

Things that you should read

Hope your visit goes well.

Congrats to all starting.
