Newbie Alert... Hi to all

my name is raven... and im sortov here to get involved with ,i guess as some phrase it, "the community". Im 19 years old from so-cal, and a pre-operation tg. I identify and live souly as a female in college and at work.  I was active at the start of my transition, but not so much afterwards. Ive been on "legal hormones" for maybe 2.5 years and am just really waiting for the $$money$$ for Grs. I dont know... I just like to make some friends... who understand where im coming from. I welcome all responses.

Hey Raven, I'm really envious of you and your early start on hormones.  I'm 19 as well, and live in central cali in a sense I guess.  I would actually love to talk to you sometime through PM or a chat program for some questions   Also I don't want to know exactly where you live, but what big city are you near in so-cal?  I'm just curious because I'm looking for a new doctor right now and am having a heck of a time finding a new one.

Well about that...i figure i can help only to a certain point. i kno which doctors not to go to, if thats what u mean. And i live in sunnyvale... sound close? Btw... i cant seem to talk to anyone here...is there some message program in this forum... or do i hav to find an alternative approach?

Nice to meet you.  Welcome to Susan's.

When I was 19, the year was 1970.  There was little really known about transsexuality and even less said.  I went into the military and served my four years.

I wish that I could have begun my transition at age 19.  You're lucky.  Enjoy every second of what took me until I was 51 to start.  It has been a time of wonderment for me and I hope that it is for you, too.
