This has been an amazing week for me!

I found out early this week the company I work for added transgender health to what it covers with our insurance (they did this in 2014 but just found out this week) which means they cover hrt, ffs, and srs as a medical necessity not cosmetic yay, I also got cleared by my therapist for hrt only thing left is to talk with my doctor, I got a in real life mentor who has gone through this, and I when I looked in the mirror last night I saw Kristy not Chris! I am so happy right now yay.

If you find an electrolysist (sp) who takes medical insurance, please forward it on.  I'm striking out finding one.  My deductible for out-of-network is OUTRAGEOUS!

And less than an hour ago on downer had my first dose of transphobia an elderly man who does yard work in my neighborhood noticed my nails being painted and told me I should wipe them off so I would not look like a f%÷  and then preceded tell all my neighbors that I think that I am a woman and they need to watch out. He also kept telling me to look down and I would realize I was a man I did not want to go into sex and gender with him so I left.

If you know your neighbors and if you care what they think I suggest talking to them.  Be honest.  Right now they only have one side of the story.

I told all the neighbors I know last week so safe there and the first person he told that I had not told is gay so no biggie there will talk to him next I see him
