So I have gotten approval from my therapist in my program to pursue gender reassignment surgery. I will be getting my other letter from my other therapist very soon. I cannot even describe in words how happy I am today.

So next process is going for a surgeon. I am planning to go through Dr. Marci Bowers in San Francisco. I understand there is also a surgeon in Connecticut, Dr. Stanton Honig. I do not know much about this doctor, and wanted to find out if others know much about his quality/results of surgery.

I have to begin the tricky process of pre-authorization soon for my insurance, which will be the tricky part.

If anyone has advice on this I'd love to hear from you. If anyone also has info on Dr. Honig, I would greatly appreciate feedback.

Well, I have to unfortunately update the clicker. I had originally planned on that time, but things got delayed about 6 months ago by other medical issues.
