I've had two rhinoplasty's, not satisfied with results of either and $14k out of pocket so i'm not eager to put myself through another substandard surgery and would prefer something more affordable .   I have met with Meltzer and talked with Dr Z, neither impress me and Meltzer is rather pricey.  Considered Dr Spiegel but rather cost prohibitive.  so i am looking at going overseas, i need at least my nose, jaw/chin and upper lip done.

I am open to travel just about anywhere, closer to home would be preferred.  anyone with experience [good or bad] getting discount FFS outside the states?

Hmmmm, "discount" FFS.  Most external to US FFS surgeons are not discount in the quality of service provided.

Lots of info regarding folks who went out of country ( US) for FFS.   Search for Rossi (t-change), DiMaggio (MdM), Facial Team, and several others.  I put Rossi first becaue that is where I went in Sept 2015 for FFS and hair transplants.  I am happy with the results.

Now back to digging up the garden.

There is also Eric Bensimon in Montreal, Canada. He might be cheaper because of Canadian currency and I find his work is VERY good.

I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

Hi Kayla9639,

I had my original FFS in Illinois - February 2004 and have had problems.

I am from the UK.

Please read my thread: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,180029.0.html

and the latest one here:  https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,199847.0.html

I am having my forehead sorted out and my nose done again with Facial Team in 3 weeks time.

Their prices ( partially because it's Spain ) are so much cheaper than the USA and the UK.

If you go back to January 2016, three US girls have has their FFS done by them and they are delighted.

You can also see their before and afters.

Good luck.

Hugs

Paula
