Do you have to stop HRT before FFS?

It's been posted a number of times that you can have SRS with an implant. As far as I know its the only HRT where surgeons allow it.

Implant is non-oral, in the same category as injectables, gels, patches. All deliver estrogen directly to the blood. Hence, all of these modalities should be allowed. When will doctors get it?! LOL.

avoid oral E in cases where there may be prolonged surgery including periods of immobility, transdermal and injectable should be fine. I had heparin injections twice daily and special calf cuff things attached whilst in hospital, and that was NOTHING to do with E. Immobility post surgery is far more dangerous than bio E non oral.

If Bio E non-oral was indeed risky, then all women should be refused to be operated on except maybe after menopause when ovaries stop producing E or at the very least, be given particular treatment either to dissolve clots or to stop hormone production in their bodies which isn't the case. Just think of Cesarean delivery where tens of thousands of women are operated on despite extremely high levels of E in their bodies, up to 75,000 pg/ml. My mom was one of them. 😉

I'm gonna switch to injectables when I start getting my surgeries because I know they make you stop them for a few weeks even a month which is ridiculous. Does anyone get injectables under insurance or can you just get the pill form
