I started on hormones (Tablets and low dosage) two days ago and I wanted to know by public opinion how long it takes to notice the effects.
I've done my research on the topic but I wanted to know an average by your guys!

I find you more reliable than anything else!

Hi Sarina. it differs for each of us. Much of the effects I saw were several weeks out to a couple months out. The quickest change for me was the mental one really early on and the longest taking so far has been the breast growth. As always, your milage may vary. Hang in there and enjoy the ride. Congrats, good luck and Hugs

I agree with the other two girls. Mental was first. I went from depressed needing medication to happy without in about 3 months.

Boobs were interesting 2 months onwards but still growing in spurts after 5 years.

Fail in erections for me was very quick, about 2 weeks.

But the changes are very variable among us all.

Skin softening, hair loss on the body. To be honest a lot happened without me really noticing. One day I took my razor into the shower to shave my legs and I just looked like a dumb bunny - I didn't have any.

But we all vary.

Biggest pleasure in this is enjoying the journey!!!

Congratulation on starting this part of your journey. It's nice to hear somewhat what to expect, but I'm sure everyone is right when they say it varies. I'll start my HRT in a couple months assuming I'm healthy. I should be.
