I've been using Peecocks since the first one came out and am on my third one now. I'm not 100% happy with it, but for me it's a good compromise in price and usability.
I've noticed that spilling (which still happens occasionally) is usually due to poor positioning, having to pee too badly (and thus overflowing the cup), and ... pubes. If I shave the area the cup is covering while peeing (I reposition it because having it in pee-position is not the right anatomical look) there is far less back-spillage than when I let it grow out for a week or two.
So, while this is anecdotal evidence, I still would like to share it in case it might help for some of you. I understand shaving down there might be triggering dysphoria or other problems.
Not sure why shaving might help. I suspect hair preventing a good seal, and it creating a sort of mesh that conducts liquid to places you don't want it to go. When I was still sitting down I already noticed a difference between shaven/non-shaven but I never connected the dots until recently.
