What do you wear?

I, myself, tend to dress on the more feminine side. Lately, it's been a bunch of athletic shirts, even though I'm on the fat side, with a vest and leggings. It's not very manly, but it's comfortable. I still do makeup and wear flower crowns and big scarves too.

I think it's because, even dressing masculine, I don't pass. So I just dress how I feel comfortable. I don't shave my legs anymore so I had to say bye-bye to dresses and skirts (and partially because I'm always in a binder). I was just curious as to what other FTMs wear on the daily!

My fashion sense is just very masculine, I'd never wear anything that typically would be for 'girls' not because I'm scared of looking like one it's just not for me. I only wear jeans/shorts with a shirt/jumper etc and some sneakers. Never was a fan of shaving my legs or armpit hair either. Always hated skirts/dresses and tight-fitting shirts. Usually my shirts are a bit loose but not too baggy, so that it doesn't hug my waist/hips but doesn't make me look like a child in adults clothes either. Jeans are skinny but not skin-tight skinny, again so the hips aren't pointed out too much, and my shorts are just regular chino shorts.

I typically wear men's jeans and t-shirts or polo shirts. Unfortunately t-shirts tend to give away your chest if your binder doesn't compress you into a perfectly natural shape (like mine, darn C's) but the collar of the polos and the way the arms fit help to imply a more "male" look. If my hips weren't so wide I'd go a bit dressier, with proper trousers, button-up shirts and a waistcoat from time to time. As it stands, unfortunately, men's trousers just don't look good on me, so I grudgingly avoid them for the time being.

I'm not FTM but a non-binary guy who happens to be female. I am also a total slob. I dress for comfort and only for comfort. When it's cold, I wear fleece-lined cargo pants and waffle sweaters with hoodies. When its warm, I wear non-lined cargo pants or jeans and t-shirts with hoodies. In the summer, cargo shorts and t-shirts. I wear wool socks unless its sandal weather. Merrell mocs and Adidas sneakers are my go to unless it is really wet or snowy.  I wear mens clothes 95% of the time. Most of them are from thrift stores. I don't look like a man because of my boobs but I can pass if they are covered by really baggy hoodies. My husband and I are the same height and tend to pass clothes back and forth... neither of us have style.

my style changed a lot when i finally was on t and had top surgery because i was more comfortable and lost weight. before it was baggy clothes all the time. sweats, tshirts and especially sweaters even in the summer time. now though? it's jeans, polos, hoodies, pull over sweaters, and yes track pants and tshirts on my lazy days but definitely more fitting. i care a lot more now about how i look though.

I wear nothing but men's clothing. I just don't feel comfortable even going to the women's section for myself. I see the clothes there and just can't even imagine myself in them.
My style just depends on the day/event. I spend most of my time at work so I wear business casual clothes jeans (because for some reason I get away with it lol)  or slacks mostly now, a button up and sometimes a sweater. If I just have class that day then it's probably sweats / whatever I wore to bed because I'm lazy af!. If I'm going out then it's your typical f boi style (I'm not a f boi tho! I swear)
Oh and if I can wear a hat I'm wearing my snap back!

I second being lazy in that I basically wear sweatpants and a t shirt unless I'm going somewhere. If I am going somewhere and it's not work, then I'll wear jeans or black pants with a long sleeve Henley shirt or a plain t shirt and hoodie. Maybe a hat or beanie. I'm pretty simple and boring. I do have a few shirts that say stuff on them (but I need new shirts so bad lol) I care more about how things fit on me now too. It feels so great when you can fit into a pair of jeans without feeling any unwanted dysphoria about it.

I'm usually a hoodie and jeans sort of guy, sometimes you might catch me in a button up shirt. I know wearing hoodies and jeans most likely makes me look ten years younger than I am (I'm turning 26 this year) but... ah well, I don't give a damn. Comfyness is a big factor for me when choosing clothes so that's what I wear.

i'm only 5'2" and i'm not "skinny" but i'm not fat either. you would just need to find clothes that fit your body shape. my only issue is that i have short legs so jeans tend to drag and i have to pin roll them up.

I am a pretty stylish person (which makes sense considering I am a fashion stylist as an occupation), though since transitioning I mostly dress for comfort.  It is generally fairly stylish comfort, though.

I don't wear hyper feminine items, but I enjoy funky patterns and daring styles that your average guy might not always be brave enough to try.  I only wear slim fit or skinny fit clothes.  I wear t-shirts of some kind almost every day and though they are always masculine, they are also always tight (I can do this as I am barely a B cup and my binder flattens me totally).  I also wear slim fit jeans and trousers.  I love funky, fun athletic wear, too, in bright colors with fun sayings, and I adore sleeveless muscle style shirts and hoodies.  Here is a Pinterest board I made once highlighting "My Style".

I've gone a bit more masc than maybe I would have if i was cis to make sure I don't get read as female (from clothing anyway... i'm still short and my binder game is not strong)

The thing is i was never very feminine, but when i came out everyone said i was! I used to wear leggings with holes in them under big shirts or loose dresses, and i would wear the same thing for weeks because i hated choosing what to wear. everything was black

I still wear black now tbh i can't seem to break the habit. i know that jersey fabrics and tshirts (knits rather than weaves) don't conceal my chest very wel,l but i don't really like collared shirts, particularly checked or plaid ones which seems to be the only option these days unless you want a really smart looking one, which doesn't really go with paint stained jeans? lol

i have one hoodie that has a print on it that's kind of rigid and makes me look flatter so i pretty much wear that constantly. i always think it's pointless to buy interesting tshirts because the constant hoodie wearing means no one sees them anyway

Both! I honestly live in leggings because pants don't fit me right. I mean I'm like almost 22 but also only 4'7" lmao so leggings work best. I usually cut the sleeves off of my shirts and wear cardigans over them. It's my own style, although I do have to admit it's not very masculine. Some days though I'll be in hoodies and snapbacks, depending on the weather.

Not gonna lie leggings are comfortable af! I wear them with my shorts it's part of my Asian style I have sometimes. I need more honestly they are so comfortable but not the best in summer lol.
If you aren't that masculine that's fine you don't have to be. I have a lot of male friends who someone would probably consider metrosexual. They're straight (except for my brother) but don't dress like your typical guy or act like one.
You can make what you have masculine if you want wear shorts over your leggings if you like that style it will at least give you an androgynous look. I know being short makes it hard to find clothes but Amazon has some pants that go as short as 29. I've been thinking about getting things tailored too. Have you looked at joggers? Their leggings for dudes lol
Do you like tanks? Why not just buy tanks instead of cutting your shirts up then you can recycle your shirts later on.
I'm still a little unsure if you are trying to become more masculine or not. You seem comfortable in your style but want to be more masculine

I'm not that skinny either so I get it but I think online shopping will definitely help. They offer more options than in store. Also with your height you may fit in juniors. Their stuff is cheaper too! And since you will be in the boys side the clothes run a little bigger than girls (my friend is the height for juniors but her booty is not. I'm not even mad though her booty nice)

Do you buy male tanks and shirts? Womens are designed to show as much skin as possible. Most of my wardrobe is from my brothers closet and I noticed that his tanks don't show my binder that much it's like a little bit near my neck that it shows. I just don't wear them with out a cardigan or a flannel because I don't like my arms. All of my friends know I wear a binder anyways since I'm a 36 D but now kinda flat (wish more but oh well). I didn't really think they noticed though until I told one of my managers that I'm getting top surgery when I get the money for it. She understood because she knows I wear a binder. My point is people most likely know you wear a binder so don't let it stop you from wearing shirts you like. It's like if a bra strap shows just readjust your shirt. I noticed that I'm really the only one over thinking about things like my binder or top surgery. My friends don't care lol. You might find that the same goes for you
