For seven years I surfed on the Internet, many forums, many encyclopedic and other formal and informal sites, I educated myself a lot, but for reasons I may specify later, I decided not to transition, and even to stop most of my small attempts at feminizing like a black line under the eye... stopped shaving my legs.
Now that I have been on HRT for some 5 months (very lightly in the 1st 2 months) I'm now realizing to what extent everyone's experience is different. You may read and get well informed, about dosages, effects and all, but you won't find out what it does on yourself until you try it.
I was expecting to see no change whatsoever on my beard, mustache and body hair. I had been prepared for that by most of what I had read and my psy.
I didn't have much body hair at first anyways, scarce beard, but spironolactone first hit
Then I was added finasteride and all the unwanted hair are now thinner, weaker, grow slower or don't grow back after I pull them.
I had stopped finasteride for a while for different reasons (10 days) so now that I started back, I'm pretty sure I can identify all that finasteride does.
On top of fading my body hair, it does magic with my hair (feel and look great), and, generally speaking, I clearly see a sudden increase in the feminization of my face, I don't know... exactly how but I do become cuter in my mirror with finasteride.
Some days since I started E, I woke up and saw no effect at all (the old guy back in the mirror), some days I saw all the effects, my face, around my eyes, my eyelashes... well my butt no doubt... It varied, seemed to be a matter of perception.
But with finasteride, the changes are much more obvious and rising.
It's great
