So it's finally been a month, or 4 weeks, depending on how you look at it. I definitely  have had some changes at this point and I've been feeling happier and more calm as a result. I wanted to break down the changes that I've had so far.

Breast Development
So I've had some breast development, as I stated in another post. My Right breast is noticeably bigger than the left breast, which started in week 3, though since then not much has changed in the way of growth, at least not that I've noticed. I've noticed small lumps around the areola area underneath the skin, as well as the areola seeming to be slightly larger. The lumps aren't painful to the touch anymore. The nipples on the other hand are tender to the touch. If I touch them, they cause a pain that ranges from dull to sharp knife, but there is no ball or lump behind the actual nipple yet that I can tell which makes me wonder why the nipple hurts if there is no lump behind the nipple. Is that normal and just the early start to breast development? I know I shouldn't expect huge changes in the first month but I'm just curious is all especially since the areola is slightly puffed out too. Other than that, there has been some itchiness to the breasts all over, as well as some stretch marks on the underside and an occassional pain here and there in the breast area. They still kind of look like a mix between a moob and a boob, but I know that'll change as time passes. I also noticed my nipples are more conical shaped now, but they don't stay erect all the time like I've read some forum members talking about though maybe that's because of the sports bra I wear? But that's it for breast changes in the first month.

Skin
My skin has become notably softer and has even lightened up a few shades as well. Hair growth on the body has slowed down. My face has also had some slight but noticeable changes. My lips have become more plump, if that's the right word, and the jaw line isn't as sharp either, and the face as a whole has rounded slightly. My hips have also shown some width increase too. I've also noticed my body oder has changed to a more feminine smell as well.

Other Changes
I have noticed my emotion states have changed, being more calm and mellow, but also my range of emotions feels wider and more full too. I also have been quite happy too since I started as the changes have happened! I have had a decreased sex drive and the activity down there has pretty much ceased as a result from morning woods and random erections. I have noticed that when I actually do get aroused I have more control over it and the feelings I get from it feel more intense and better. I have noticed there has been some shrinkage down there as well too.

So that's been most of the changes I can list off the top of my head from one month in so far! I can't wait for month two and the changes it will bring. I'm still super excited about all the changes so far and the changes that will come but I have had to remind myself that it is a second puberty essentially so I need to be patience.

Sorry if some of the information is redundant. I just wanted to condense all the changes into a single post, and share some of the changes I hadn't talked about.

I don't know whether this is helpful or not, but in the UK there is a product called bio-oil I think, which ladies going through pregnancy can use on their bodies as they grow to help reduce how severe their stretch marks become.

It's not something I've looked in to, but perhaps it might work for your breasts too? You need to apply it twice daily while you're growing if memory serves...

I'll definitely look into it, sounds pretty interesting! Thanks for the tip ^_^

Thats amazing. So my question is did morning wood go away pretty quickly? This is the biggest issue I have with my body and hair. I'm hoping I get the same state of mind so I can concentrate on my violin. I picked it up so I wont fixate on the coming changes and go crazy. be sure to post month 2!

I'm two weeks in and I've noticed many of the same changes you have. My skin is less oily, and I find I want to use moisturizer on my hands cause they get so dry now.

What I'm happiest about though is how I smell. God it feels so good not to smell like a guy! It's like HRT is worth it for that alone. I haven't seen any changes to my face yet but I hear that takes time. Some soreness in my nipples, and the areolae are darker, but otherwise no breast growth yet.

It feels so good though to feel my body changing from the enemy it's been since puberty into something I can live in. Can't wait to see what's to come!

I will post month two! And yeah the morning wood went away in the first week. And since I have more control over my arousal, I have been able to go a lot longer without needing any kind of release, that and I don't get any random erections anymore and it's sort of kind of retreated into the body and I have to actually play with it to get an erection now which I actually am happy about because it makes hiding it easier. I've had the issue of getting fixated because it's all so exciting. I was surprised by the changes in month 1 and I can't wait for month 2!

I know what you mean! It's so nice to just not smell like a guy anymore! Like seriously. My areolae have darkened slightly but I noticed that they expanded some. It's hard to measure but at the start they were 1 inch in diameter and now are roughly 1.5 inches in diameter or 4 centimeters My nipples seemed to have changed some too, and today I could actually feel a little ball starting to form behind the nipple, and the nipple when it gets hard feels different too, and when it isn't hard it still pokes out a little and has a more rounded cone type shape to it, instead of being flat like a male nipple, but I know it still has a long way to go since it's only been one month. I also noticed my palms get a bit dry, but I didn't think to honestly use moisturizer on it so maybe I'll have to do that! Congrats on the two weeks so far!!

WOW in that case I'm going to be waking up very happy then. I wake up not being able to get out of bed because of that thing I hate it. I often find myself talking to it pissed off because it's uninvited the majority of the day.

I know! I used to do that so often and when it decided to pop up randomly oh my god it was so annoying!

You know, I've been thinking about how excited I am about a little soreness in my nipples--what will happen when I actually get breast growth? Real, actual breast growth?

I remember when I was fifteen, I went to the dermatologist for acne, and he told me that there was a pill they could give me which would prevent pimples AND possibly cause breast growth. And I was thinking, "WTF? How could such an excellent pill possibly exist?" It was totally too good to be true, and yet it was true.

But I felt that I had to pretend that I didn't want breasts. Of all the obstacles I've endured over the years, I think the worst was my own resistance to transition. Whatever HRT holds for me, I'm glad that I've finally accepted who I am.

You are your own worst enemy as they say. I resisted for years before I couldn't take it anymore. I accepted who I am and came out because I was tired of hiding, tired of not getting to be me! And I know every little change is exciting!

Edit: I'm glad you accepted yourself for you! I can't wait to see the changes for you in the future.
