I'm super concerned about really dumb things lately
well, i just cut my hair it makes me look more masculine and heck i'm comfortable more then ever.
But a small problem started sneaking up on me and its i look like my father which doesn't have to be a bad thing it's just its upsetting me because i already struggle with not comparing myself to other people.
And here i am knowing and seeing i look like my dad and thinking "What if i end up looking identical to my father when i finally take testosterone?" Great, now i'm feeling like a image of who i am not i just want to look and be me and i don't want to feel associated strongly to my parents. I don't even know what to ask or what to say i just know that it is creating worries and frustrations mixed with a lot of confusion and triggers.
The simple answer would be for me to just ignore it or not think to much into it problem is that has  been a lot harder done then iv'e been able to do.

As simple question. Would you rather look like your father or continue to look like a girl? In my case, I figured I might end up looking like an ugly girl but for me, that was better than remaining a male.

I'm basically a smaller, hairier, thinner, and not balding version of my dad. He's very jealous of the good hair genes I picked up from my mom's side :)

I think comparing yourself to other people is the root of most people's unhappiness. We do it all the time, and nothing good ever comes out of it unless it's pushing you to do better. But for things you have no control over like how you look? Pointless.

I have no idea how my biological parents looks alike. But what's wrong with looking like your family? As long people loves their family members and have a good relationship to them, it seems fine for me. My biological parents are probably short, skinny and have a Asian appearance. I would rather look like my biological dad than looking female probably. I have no idea how he looks alike, but he looks probably similar to other Chinese people.

I understand you don't want to be mixed up with another person and you want to be yourself. But nobody can refuse you being yourself and most people understand you are difference than your family even you looks like them.
