Thank you so very much. It will be nice to have someone I can write to and chat with. I know people probably will become tired of answering the same question over and over again so I will accept your offer. I know I have question and feeling I haven't thought of or realized yet. So thanks again. I will most definitely be in contact with you.
So you are a University teacher, what courses do you teach? I never taught but my family has had it share of teachers.
I worked 37 years for a telecommunication company here in Arkansas named Southwestern Bell Telephone Company which bought AT&T and goes by that name now. I was able to retire in 2010 and have been living the dream. I hope you get to retire soon. I bet you'll love it.

Well my story is no secret! I'm an haemopathologist (science), a cancer research worker (with research funding in the $5mill region), a Prof of Immunology and run three specialised Pathology labs with a staff of about 20 that diagnose lymphoma and leukaemia.
I have had about 15 PhD students and far too many Hons students to count. I teach medical science and medicine. I was high profile before I transitioned and the day I arrived at work as me the news went viral throughout the health system in Adelaide in South Australia.
As I had no chance of being in any way stealth I went public so I am a known activist, I have been on TV, radio, and of course in newspapers.
I'm retiring so I can do more work in the activism area, I'm the executive secretary of ANZPATH and formed a local support group that attracts about 20-30 new people each meeting.
I was utterly terrified of coming out and when I joined I was the biggest scary cat on the site.
Now?
It's different!
