How do I transition when I'm 18 with informed consent?

My dad isn't going to help and I'm done trying...

Do I go to an endocrinologist who has an informed consent model/policy? Or do I start at a therapist first? I'm not sure how to do this anymore. I'm gonna regret not being able to transition sooner, but I'm just gonna need to accept that I can't do anything until I'm older...

I remember when I was 14 and thought I'd be able to start hormones at 16, looks like it'll be another difficult waste of 2 years or more... It's funny, almost, I'm not being allowed HRT because my anxiety needs to be addressed... And the anxiety is caused by my gender dysphoria that will lessen when I get T... whatever...

Depends where you live really...so I'll assume you're in the US, if so Planned Parent Hood offers transgender services including HRT, I would google a few in your area and give them a ring and ask them, there are some that don't offer them. Or you could find a local gender therapist or one in a nearby city (google search again). They would probably connect you with an endo that they work with and refer their patients to after receiving your hormone letter.

Best of luck

Informed consent does not require a therapist. If you live near a city in the US, there is a good chance you could find an LGBTQ clinic or friendly practitioner that offers HRT via informed consent. Your best bet to connect with those resources would probably be to go to a local support group and ask others who they go to. Like Skyler mentioned, some Planned Parenthood locations offer HRT, but not all of them do. You would need to call around to the ones near you and see if they do or not.

I think you'd benefit from speaking to a therapist though. I'd suggest taking a look online to see if there are any that specialize in gender near you, or consider an online therapist. It would be good if your dad could join in with you.
