Housing Update 04/22/16

I am still at the homeless shelter. The shelter staff is assisting me in applying for supportive housing where I will be semi independent, sharing an apartment with one person and will have access to counselors to deal with my addiction and mental illness issues. The process will probably take a couple of weeks or so. In the meantime I have a hearing with the Social Services department to appeal the decision to cut off all my aid. In addition to appealing the decision I also emailed the Governor of New York State about the deplorable conditions that Social Services department routinely tries to place people in. They have pissed off the wrong Scorpio woman.
