Since I may be taking my first soon, I wondered, when you first took both of them or either, did you feel any difference in your mood / general being after your first take?
Less drama, more action!

I started with Estradiol in early March this year and added Spiro about a week later. Since then, my world has changed from a foggy, dark post-nuclear war scene to a sunshine filled green landscape with chirping birds. I know it sounds cheesy but this is really what it feels like to me.

The only negative is that I now realize that I should have done this 2 decades ago... But it's never too late, right?

Love u all

It takes a couple of weeks for the chemistry of your body to rebalance but I felt a good deal of excitement taking my first pill. Also you doctor may start you on a lower dose so if you don't feel any different, you may need to wait for the next blood test/dosage adjustment for the doctor to finish out the balancing process.

I get my estrogen via an injection.

Physically i felt no different, mentally.. i was so excited and i can swear I felt estrogen pumping through my body. I remember feeling the needle prick my skin and the female juice flow into my body.

Afterwards I felt at peace...

The first physical effect can about two days later, I woke up and my nipples were sore and by the next day they started swelling. I was lucky and started breast development very quickly.
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

Very nice way to describe it. Same for me.

I was on cloud nine for a week! Nothing could dampen my mood. It was really weird I was smiling so much and I never did that before.

Don't know if it was from the medication itself, but rather the thought that I had started finally. Things settled down after a few weeks. Nowadays it's a very calm feeling most of the time, versus the mostly miserable time before.

I didn't notice anything from the estrogens. I did take comfort in the fact that I was taking them though. It was a very difficult time in my life and I was torn in so many directions...

I suppose that over time they had a positive affect on me but it wasn't a light switch.

The positive mental changes for me came pretty quickly, noticeable at two weeks and life changing by about month six.

I could totally feel it in like the first 15 minutes after taking it. After a while it tapered down for me, but I still feel great. Those first few weeks I was riding pretty high, though.

Mentally, it was tremendous... Happy, confidence up, compulsions down...  That's more about the choice to begin than the actual pills though

After a couple of days, emotions definately became more intense, and I find myself openly laughing and crying a lot more :)

For me, I could feel a difference within 15 minutes.
