Today is ANZAC Day in Australia when we remember the bravery and sacrifice that Australian and New Zealand service people have given to protect us.
Today in Adelaide several trans women marched as the brave women they are with their comrades from the Vietnam War and with the RAAF, proudly walking, wearing their medals and honouring the fallen.
I thank them.
We all thank them.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
