Anyone have style&clothing tips for passing?

I have a bunch of blue black and green plaid but over time iv'e become board of plaid i really just want to put something simple together and look like a guy with a little bit of good style mixed within the clothing choices.
Being a guy and passing must be easy i'm sure problem is i'm still not passing around here so i figured maybe clothing? maybe the style? heck if i am just seen as a guy with one stranger it would be wonderful!
because even if this is a small area there are some strangers and yet i still am not passing.
My second question is can you pass with skinny jeans or is it to revealing of the hips?

Just stick to what seems reasonable for you.

-try darker colours for sweaters etc. They tend to hide surface.

-one size bigger, not too big for trousers.

-second hand stores can be a good source. Or second hand from the internet, from trustworty sellers.
There may also be local second hand markets. Usually its announced in local papers.

This is a good starting point . Also there was a clothing thread on here recently asking what ftms on the site wear. I remember some were talking about how they wear skinny jeans and like how they look and it depends on what brand you get (sorry I couldn't find it :/ )

The search can be a bit tricky.

You can try to use a few keywords you remember, and narrow down the days , from 1 day to x days .
Then its likely a good result appears

I wear mens jeans and t shirts when I'm presenting male. I don't care for plaid or dress slacks..just jeans and whatever type of short I need for going to town.

I found the best corduroys whilst raiding my father's wardrobe today. I can usually wear his shirts and jumpers, and often nick his ties, but sadly the corduroys were just too baggy. He's skinny, yes, but he's man-skinny and I'm... girl-skinny. Ick. T can't come soon enough.
