Ok OK I know a really stupid question. However, I am hoping to make some friends with my Southern folks. I am hoping to get a working visa to the South West (Arizona, Colorado, California) and if I do it be nice to make some new friends. Who wants to be my friend lol ?

Hate to tell you this but the southwest is big. California is over 700 miles long an the distance between Los Angles and Phoenix is about 400 miles. The distance between Los Angles and San Francisco again is about 400 miles. Board members are scattered all around this areas and I have seen over half a dozen who admit to being in the Phoenix area alone. It would help others to know where you are going to be as it's possible to spend months just exploring the areas you described.
