I have a set of breast forms they are quite large, as I like that kind of thing.  I have a few 42dd bras that I used to wear with homemade forms. The forms I have seem to fit the underwire but the cups do not completely cover form. After measuring myself measurements say I am a 42i, which I own a softcup bra and an underwire, they both completely cover the forms but the underwire sticks up in the middle. Should the forms be completely covered by the bra, and what can I do about the underwire?

Thanks in advance.

How is the bounce with that bra, I've considered it, and how is it with larger forms?

The bra holds me firm but I'm a natural a with the forms b and I don't jiggle...I have a white, nude and blk genie bra. My wife bought me my first one and I was hooked.

You're probably already aware of this, but just in case...

You can get bras with tulle pockets for holding breast forms in place, and because those pockets encase the breast form, even if something pokes over the top, it just looks like part of the bra itself.

I wear the cheapest breast forms that Amoena make (their swim forms)...mainly because I wanted to experiment with cup size without spending a lot of money, but the ones I chose were great so I still wear them. I also get all of my lingerie from Amoena also, because all of their bras come with pockets (because they're made for women who've had breasts removed due to cancer).

At the risk of sounding like an advertisement, I can honestly say that it's the most comfortable lingerie I have (it took quite a bit of trial and error with other brands until I settled on this one).

Hello stoutdriver79,

I would recommend asking someone who sells large breast forms for advice on a decent bra e.g. "The Breast Form Store" as I just looked there and they sell large forms and more likely than not people have asked this question before.

I also use bras made for women who have had mastectomies. They are made by Royce. Some are very thin cotton and give bounce. Some are quite firm and offer a stiffer more matronly firmness. All are full coverage and front fastening. I like the front fastening as my shoulders are a little arthritic and I haven't had a lifetime of practise fastening a bra at the back. They hold everything in place really well, you could perform any activity without them moving about and they are really comfortable. No wires needed even with my DDs and I'm only a 38 inch chest so DD looks pretty matronly. I usually wear a C cup because many dresses fit better. If I'm wearing a dress that the DDs fit though, I love the look and feel of them. Big ones run in my family, even the DDs are tiny compared to my mum. Come to think of it, I  wonder how she finds bras and clothes to fit. Pity I'm not out to her or I could ask.

Anyway, sorry for rambling, tl;dr version. I second the suggestion for mastectomy bras and add the suggestion of front fastening ones.
