The Saint

Hello everyone,

My name is James, I have recently decided to come out of the closet as a female to my SO. I have known for quite some time that I wasn't who I was supposed to be, but I have finally gained the confidence to tell my girlfriend about it after being together for 2 years. For the most part she is handling it okay, but most importantly we are there for each other. I haven't started any types of treatment yet and still haven't told my friends and family either.

I knew at a very young age that I wasn't the gender I was supposed to be, but I did the best I could to hide it. I started to take some steps on my road to do what I could to feel more "comfortable" with how I was born, yet ultimately I still felt the longing to become who I am supposed to be. I have been browsing the site for about a month now and finally decided I should just embrace who I am and what better place to start then here.  ;D

Welcome to Susan's Place. If you have been looking at the site for a month, you have a good idea what is available. What you couldn't see was a few improvements in the user interface including the ability to track threads you are interested in. Should you have any question, feel free to ask and somebody should provide an answer.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Welcome to the site. I hope you find it comfortable here now that you have started posting. It is not easy to reveal such intimate information about things we try to keep hidden. Thanks for sharing.

It can become a challenge for SO's as they think about it more. If they have questions or need information, there are a couple of significant other spots on the site. One is pretty public and open to most people. the other one is really supposed to be a more private version.

Once again, welcome to Susan's. Look around a little more, ask questions and continue to join in.

With warmth,

Joanna
