I would go see someone, but I can't just really go see people by myself (I don't even own a car... or have a driver's license...
)
...
I also have neither care er car nor license and for what it is worth I 'travel' to my therapist via phone.

My mom takes me to someone, but I can't talk to them either, because they talk to my mom about what I'm saying afterwards... so if I just told them everything I'm feeling my mom would get all stressed about it again...
...
Hum, you might can (but probably not) do something with patient privacy or something. Perhaps as simple as asking your mother to effectively not listen in for a while.
It is somewhat of a danger chatting openly with a therapist type person who does not understand GID. But, it might be worth it to get your foot in the door so to speak, so that you can then get a therapist who specializes, or at least has
A LOT of experience in GID related things.
Regardless, I am inclined to say if it is destroying you inside it is worth telling your mom.
But it all depends on how close to your tolerance you are (I.e. how much more can you take), and the type of people you have to deal with. So, obviously
*wink*, use your own judgment.

For now, you all are my only therapy...
While this forum is no substitute for therapy it is without a doubt therapeutic.
Stay strong Tori and don't let life push you around
