Hellohello *waves*

A quick post to ask where the heck I may find a person or company (UK based) who can produce a fake fringe for me. I have been to three salons who've all told me that I am not suitable for such a hairpiece as there's "nothing to attach the hair too". I can understand that as a potential reason, but then, how come so many women with diffuse hair thinning are able to have such hair pieces attached to similar problem areas? I've also recently seen a TV show  ("Better Call Saul") where the lead actor has a hairpiece to make his front hair look thicker. So, surely a piece could be attached...at least for six months/a year or so while I save up for and plan for Finasteride, hair restoration and potentially HRT.

This is how my hair looks today.

This is currently how I style it - I call it a sort of "feminine combo-over", as its vaguely reminiscent of an Edwardian women's hairstyle, and it covers up the devastation of the former hairline:

Any advice, contacts or comments appreciated, thank you!  :)
There are no more barriers to cross... But even after admitting this, there is no catharsis... I gain no deeper knowledge of myself. No new knowledge can be extracted from my telling. This confession has meant nothing.

When you find yourself hopelessly stuck between the floors of gender - you make yourself at home in the lift.

I think the safest approach would be to continue to style as you have been doing; it looks pretty and luckily your hair is thick enough to cover the areas you are concerned about. HRT will probably fill in some of the bare areas, and you could look into getting hair transplant if you don't get the regrowth you are hoping for.

I have to say your hair looks amazing.

There is something called a hairline wig, I think. it is a thin strip of wig which you attach to your head with wig tape/glue. You could try contacting http://www.customwigcompany.com/ they may be able to help you.
