Do you have to get a letter from your therapist before starting on Estrogen Blockers?
Cause I know Estrogen Blockers don't do much just stop Estrogen and I know for a fact you would need a letter for Testosterone but what about Estrogen Blockers? Also you go to a Endocrinologist to get it,right?

If you are underage, doctors want a letter before giving you blockers or hormones. The reason is they want to be sure this is something you truly feel. The therapist will explore your feeling and will help decide that treatment is the right thing for you. When you are young, there are many things you don't know about life and it's the therapist's job to fit what you feel into the life you want to live. The other option would be for you to learn this for your self but that would take years and by then the blockers would be of little use.
