I'm planning on buying a binder pretty soon, So I'm wondering which is better in your opinion. A Tri-Top or a Tank Top? Also whats the best place/website to buy them? Also are swimming binders any good, also what do you need to do with them? Like do you need to have swimming binders covered with a swim shirt. If so what type of swim shirt?
Thanks

I have a tank top binder. I have a big chest and I don't think the short binder would work for me.
I have an underworks ultimate binder and it works really well but is sweaty. I am hoping to order a binder from GC2B soon.

To add: I bought my underworks binder at a local sex positive shop so I could try it on first.
For GC2B, I have emailed them about sizing and they say that I will be able to return it with no hassles if it didn't fit.

Definitely buy a GC2B. I found it much more comfortable than an Underworks; which had scratchy material and just wearing it for a few hours made my ribs hurt. I've had no such problems with gc2b. I prefer wearing a half top because otherwise I become too warm.

As for swim tops I've heard good things from the Underworks swimming binder. It just looks like an ordinary swimming top; so it wouldn't look unusual and you're supposed to wear it on its own.
They/them pronouns preferred.

Depends on the size of your chest. Not all bigger guys find GC2B to work that well, whereas Underworks should work for most/all chest types.

I definitely recommend Underworks binders.

I used the tri-top and the tanktop. Was not a fan of the tri-top, because I have poor posture and I'm heavier through my core, so it was constantly aggravating me there. The tanktop will roll up at the bottom, but if you tuck it in, you won't have a problem.

I never used a swimming binder, but I did use an old regular binder for swimming under a rashguard. I believe the swimming binder by underworks is meant to be worn as a stand-alone top, but if it makes you uncomfortable, you could cover it with whatever.

GC2B Half Top is perfect.  I barely notice I'm wearing it, which is a huge change from getting lightheaded after 5 minutes in an Underworks binder.

i have both the half top and full binder and i like both. im a little bit chubby and they work well. i do have a small ish chest and the only thing in with the half tank i am pulling it down periodically during the day. the tank i just tuck into my pants and it stays even with my chub

Just keep drinking water and you'll be alright.

im a HUGE fan of GC2B! they just released a line of skin tone colors, and they're the most comfortable things ive ever worn! plus they're good to use when swimming, as long as it isn't too tight, but in any case i'd advise getting a size up because there isn't a big difference and itll keep the strain off of your chest. anyway, skin tone binders. sick as frick. the other day i went swimming with just swim trunks and that binder, and it worked out wonderfully! i felt so much better about my body. another plus: they're not nearly as expensive as other companies'! underworks's "swimming binder" was over $60 last i checked. GC2B is only $33 or $35, and the shipping is a good deal. as for choosing between half and tank, that's a matter of personal preference. i like having my belly button show, but the only difference between them is the amount of fabric and cost. the tank just has extra fabric on the bottom (but the compression part doesn't exceed the half) and costs a couple dollars more. the company knows what they're doing, and their binders are special for the trans community.

i just reeeeally love GC2B. highly recommend. isaac approved.

I think that depends on how your body is. I have hips, am not necessarily the "fittest" person around, and had about a B size bra back whenever. I stuck with Underworks full tank binders (note I've only ever tried these and a tri-top from T-Kingdom).
Underworks:
I bought the 997 and then put the swim binder (I think 918) on top for both my everyday and swim wear.
The 997 rolled up at the bottom and created a "uniboob" effect on me, so the swim binder kept those two things from happening. My job required too much movement so the "tuck binder in pants" thing never worked for me.
As for the swim binder alone, it worked pretty well in the water the first few times I used it but seemed to stretch out/not bind as tightly faster than the 997 did. So again, I layered the two binders for swimming to counteract the looseness. If you feel comfortable enough, the swim binder looks enough like a normal swim shirt so you wouldn't necessarily have to wear a t-shirt with it. I personally preferred to wear a t-shirt over top of the binders while swimming.

T-Kingdom Tri-Top:
I didn't like it because I didn't like the material. It didn't feel "bind-y" enough to me, and I felt less secure. I also didn't like the fact that it wasn't a full binder because of the bra-like creases the ti-top appeared to have under a t-shirt. Again, this just might be me though.
I've heard good things about GC2B, but haven't been able to try them yet. Good luck, and do post back with feedback when you eventually decide/get one then. :)
