hello sisters,

i'm a newbie in the great  world of MTF, trans-women. Really i'm dreaming to be female as i disgust being male.
I'm 27 years old, from Egypt and surgery like that stuff is banned there.

Anyone can help me what should i do?

should i go somewhere else? but i don't have enough money.

Welcome to Susan's Place. Treatment is available but not in your country. Like all of us you will need to earn and save money to get the treatment you need. In my case, I paid all my costs but I had to work and save everything I could so I could pay for everything I need. If you can find work in another country, that's an option. If you can get and education or training that will allow you to work in a better paying profession, that's another option. We have people who have worked until they were in their 50's and 60's to be able to transition. Being transgender is bad enough but having to live with while you get the money for treatment is very difficult. Start by making a plan that may be years long that will provide the money you need.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Thanks Dena,

is there any kind of food that could make my body more feminine to start with?

Hi Junsangh and Dena,
I too have wondered about whether types of food could make me more feminine. Anyone know if this is possible?
Kisses,
Kayla

As far as I understand, prescribed feminizing hormones are the only way to feminize a "male" body ... But have you considered dressing (including breast forms and/or hip padding), makeup (specifically contouring), wigs, etc?

Dont think it is true to say the surgery is banned in Egypt but there is, I think, only one surgeon who operates there.

Ironically in olden days (the 1970's) many of us used to go off to Moroco to Casablanca and see Mr Georges Barou - who was one of the pioneers of this operation. There are definitely other clinics in your part of the world - Iran for one, So there are options near you, even if it is not widely publicised.

To my knowledge, the only safe and effective way to feminize your body is with hormones. Most natural sources of estrogen like compounds are far to weak to do anything and the remainder are so dangerous that their discussion is forbidden on this site.

I was unaware of the information Rejennyrated posted but if there is a surgeon located in your country, the doctors office should be able to refer you to somebody who handles hormones in your country.

- there might be transgender groups or boards on the internet from your country. You might look that up. Watch for privacy.

Here are articles :

I would advise to stay with the pos ones ... articles are extremely triggering imo ...
so trigger warning

Things being as they are you may be likely to get asylum in other countries for being transgender.
The us might be such a country.

Please remember there are studies showing being transgender has biological connections.
So its not your fault. Maybe this could also be explained to people.
Apart from being transgender its people like everyone else.

Keep on keeping on and and keep looking for a way, there will be a way eventually.
