Does Rhinoplasty Make Lip Lift Necessary?

Hi ladies. I posted recently about having type III forehead setback reconstruction and my wish to not have rhinoplasty unless absolutely necessary. Many think it is important to do at the same time. However I would like to avoid it if possible. Partly, I know rhinoplasty can be hard to get right, and i wonder if what I have heard is true: if you're on the edge of needing a lip lift  (i.e. not really needed, but possibly optional), would a smaller nose necessitate an upper lip lift?
My sense is the more areas you work on, the more chance for complications and that proportions will be off.
I am fearful that doing my forehead reconstruction and looking at a nose job as mandatory may also mean I will have a longer appearing upper lip. Any thoughts? Thanks all.

Hmm normally it shouldnt change much unless he modifies the angle of your nose to much  wich will not happen because surgeons try to make the look as natural as possible...  If you indeed need a lip lift then thats because you already needed it before surgery.   Men usually have longer philtrum then woman.  According to surgeons,  ideal philtrum lenght is from 12mm to 15mm  .  I had rhinoplasty and lip augmentation with juvederm and emervel, i didnt require any lip lift and ive a philtrum lenght of 12mm.

Lip lifts are done primarily to shorten philtrums (the skin between your upper lip and nose), secondarily to show more of the upper lip. There is nothing a rhinoplasty would do that would lengthen your philtrum.

However, male faces do tend to have longer philtrums than female faces. The more feminine your face, the more pronounced a longer philtrum would appear to other people. If a rhinoplasty feminizes the nose, then yes, the apparent disharmony of a philtrum's length may require a lip lift.

However, there is nothing inherent about a rhinoplasty that would require a following lip lift.
Why do I always write such incredibly long posts?
