Do any of you have advice on creating fuller hips. I have a 31" waist and and 37" hip measurement, mostly which is in the butt, notthe hips.  So many of the products I have seen look like just to bumps placed over the hips.  I have seen the Classic Curves Porducts (the Veronica 2).  Do any of you use the V1 or V2?  How about corsets, any comments on their usefullness?

Thanks,

Lora

I've never tried any of the products you've described.  I too have small hips but I've solved the problem through fashion by wearing cloths that accentuate the hips or give that illusion.  For example, most of my tops have a slight flare at the bottom so that the top flares out slightly just above the waist.  Also when wearing pants or jeans wear a belt that accentuates the hips, wearing horizontal lines at the hip makes the seem wider than they are.  Additionally, I am able to wear the popular low rise pants (what we used to call hipsters).  I've found that they also accentuate the hips.

Skirts can be a bother as well.  Most skirts do not have belts or belt loops.  They are designed to fit at the waist and drape from the hips.  Consequently that's the way they are designed and cut.  After shopping around and trying various styles and cuts I now have several skirts that fit me well.  I have two tailored skirts for business wear, a navy and a black one.  As they are cut to fit over a woman's hips they make it look as though I do have hips.  I also tend to buy skirts that are cut on the bias and that flare at the hem.  (Twirly skirts as my daughter calls them).  These also look better on women who have small hips.

I know this is a little off from your original question but it does offer and alternative solution.  Hope this helps a little.

HI Lora,

This is sometimes a hard nut to crack and get the look you want. Leah also has no hip, no curve. We did spend some on a hip padded brief. Trouble was that the hip padded area squishes fat under the tight lowrider jeans. I think we are going to try to make them for her ourselves. Do you so? I have the name of a very special person that is good at costuming and helps alot with the girls in the Pageants. He can make anything. Just send him your measuerments and telling him what you want he'll fix you right up. We met him about 2 and 1/2 years ago in Tulsa, Ok. Not sure exactly where he fits in the uniqueness of others like those here at Susans but he does shave all hair and has the walk and look down even when he's in guys clothing. Just a super individual. Can do gowns, swim wear taylored eveything.

Sounds like a good contact Peggiann.  Would this person object to his contact information or web site being posted here?

I'm waiting on his reply to my request to post it here. I sent it just after I posted that last one. I should her back probably by this evening or tomorrow.

I use the padded breifs my self.picked up one from a ebay store that caters to CD. ran me about $35 if I remember. I have looked at classic curves products but have not bought any.
I have very little curves some call me a walking tooth pick without any tushy. I only use the padded breifs  with jeans or a tight skirt. If I wear long lose skirts I don't bother with it just wear my undies. hope this helps to
