"Proclaiming that "this fight is just beginning," Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Tuesday that he will encourage every public school superintendent in Texas to ignore the Obama administration policy requiring schools to allow transgender students to use bathrooms and locker rooms consistent with their gender identities."
