I just wanted to see if anybody here who lives in or around the Philly area or otherwise don't but are willing to come through here to attend the Philadelphia Trans Health Conference? I will be there. This will be my first trans-related event so I will definitely be interested in meeting people who are members of this site in person.  :)
They say identity theft is a crime. Well, needless to say, a crime has been committed. My identity has been stolen. No, no one knows my social security number or has my credit card. I'm walking around in the wrong body. I'm wearing a costume which I cannot remove... and the only way I can remove that costume, is through surgery

I looks like there are several of us going.

Interestingly, I have my first appointment at the Mazzoni center the Aug 29. As I am pre HRT I obviously do not pass as female. What do attendees wear at these events, do I go DRAB  :( ? I appreciate anyone's thoughts.

I am really excited to go. This will be the first time going to a trans event since I realized that I was transgender!

I've been to the last three and dress is quite varied, but tends to be casual unless you are presenting, then it's smart casual. Dress how you feel comfortable. You don't have to present as one gender or another either. Even if you don't pass you will be fine for the event. Nearby is the Terminal Market (great food) and although there are a lot of people there that are NOT from the conference, you want have any issues in the area. In the nearby hotels it's mostly conference attendees.

Some days I wore women's shorts and a top, and the say I presented I wore a maxi skirt and top.
