Hi All,

I'm a little curious to know what people pay for therapy around the world.  My main therapist is a psychotherapist she charges $50 Canadian for an hour appointment, my psychologist charges $175 for an hour appointment.  Both are experienced transgender therapists.   I pay for this out of my own pocket, there's no government support and I don't have private health insurance for this.

Does this seem similar to other peoples experiences?
Thanks,
Paige :)

In Seattle, USA my therapist charges $115 but I pay $20 because I have private insurance that is completely amazing for transgender care

In the US. I have worked with 3 online therapists, 1 in person therapist, and 1 psychiatrist.

Online (in USD) - $45, $50, $125
The first two were text-based chatting, the last was Skype sessions.

In-person therapist and psychiatrist were both $30, which is my insurance copay.
