Ralcos

Hello! I am Ralcos, and I was born Male, yet I don't know about my gender identity.
Most days, I imagine myself as a woman, and love the result, but on the other side of the coin, I'm okay with being a man.

I want to go get gender reassignment surgery to become female in body, but I'm not sure if that is the best idea.

Welcome to Susan's Place. You have a long way to go before you make that decision. You should see a gender therapist and explore these feeling because there are other options than just male or female. Some people decide to take the best of both and live somewhere in-between. Others are fluid or bigender and their gender identity can shift between the two. In therapy you will discover where you feel comfortable and then make your decision on how you wish to live. I am giving you two links that will help you start exploring. The first is our WIKI where you will discover some of the possibilities. The second is "the transition channel" where a therapist will help you explore your feeling and possibly give you a better understanding of what you want. Feel free to post any question you have on this thread.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Welcome, And i can't answer for you but have you looked into gender fluid?
I know for me at the start of everything (Not saying for everyone, this was me but others could be different i'm just giving my experience)  That at the start of everything i was genderfluid i'd switch between genders and eventually it stopped but for some people it continues. Give yourself time eventually you'll figure everything out and good luck!
