In many European languages wig is called similar to PERRUQUE (French), for example:
Danish: paryk
Esperanto: peruko
Francuski: perruque
Greek: περούκα
Italian: parrucca
Polish: peruka
Spanish: peluca
Swedish: peruk
Ukrainian: перука

Choose the one you like (if you like any ;)).

There is more to wigs than that. There are top lace wigs, full lace wigs, silk top wigs, wigs which can be glued on (some people wear them continuously for up to 40-60 days! They even take shower in them!) and so on.

Welcome to the site. Thanks for jumping with info and outside the box thinking. We have a lot of members that are spread throughout the age and trans spectrum. This leads to a lot of potential experience and good advice. Not to mention just plain support.

I also wanted to pass along some links that we try to get to all newly posting members. It has welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not read through them please take some time and do so:

Once again, welcome to Susan's. I hope you find what you are looking for here and in life.

I know that once I got on finasteride I've been noticing some hair coming back in. Not sure how much I'll get. And often times I won't notice hair coming out when I shower or something. It definitely feels thicker and fuller when I run my fingers through it, too. Really it's the antiandrogens that'll help to stop testosterone production or block it.

I have bad male pattern baldness.  Unless I go through the hair grafting option, I am pretty sure I will have to wear my wig all the time.  I am trying Rogain, but unsure if it will ever work.  I have been using it now for about 2 months but have not seen any results.  No plan to stop though.  I figure it cant hurt so might as well continue.

Good luck.  Jenny
Been trying to find myself since 4/5/16. Was lost before then. Still long road ahead.
