Y'all see the news in Oregon yesterday? It's my home state, so I don't know if it's widespread or if only the locals are seeing it right now. Pretty cool.

I used the same attorney for my divorce a number of years back.

Prefer the term "
Third Gender
" - it's more widely understood globally.
washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2016/04/23/why-terms-like-transgender-dont-work-for-indias-third-gender-communities/
"
But it's no use now
," thought poor Alice, "
to pretend be two people!
"
Why, there's hardly enough of me left to make one respectable person
!"

Hi,
Corvallis, Oregon reporting in here.
No, I have not read about this. I sent it off though. One to Portugal and one to Ann Arbor.
Thanks,

I grow up in Pennsylvania in the seventies and eighties, in the town I spent that time in most people had no clue what transgender was. With that said that experience allows me to compare Pennsylvania and surrounding states to Oregon.
Being an Oregonian for 20 plus years shows how great Oregon is compared to the areas I lived in before. Back around 1994 I could go out dressed with no concerns of harassment other than men doing their thing. During my RLE before changing my name I never had any issues, although a few sales people would say things like "Your mother had a sense of humor naming you Kevin" and I would laugh it off. Post-op, it just got better.
IMHO if you are looking for a state to live in that is accepting of transgender in any form, Oregon should be considered. I would suggest looking at Portland and Salem.
