Hey... I'm rather nervous but I think here is a good place to start. Since I was little I've always known I was different and now it's pretty much unavoidable. Only issue, I have no idea how to tell my family as I dread rejection.... Anxiety does not help.... I'm actually huddled outside a coffee shop on my phone so no one can walk in on me writing this.

Now I bet you're wondering, why pick te internet to come out? Because I can easily walk away from it. People online are easy to ignore, people you live with... Yeah, not so much. Lol

Anyways, my name is Aria... Am I gonna regret coming here?

I wouldn't worry about being here Aria. we all have some feelings along those same lines, since to one degree or another, we all feel/felt different.
Folks here are nice and very accepting.

Whew! That's a relief! I guess it's good I sought out a place where I can just be me. In truth I've always hated my day to day life of pretending to be a man. For the longest time I thought I was, then one of my teachers reffered to me by female pronouns by mistake and I actually felt good about it.

Recently I've been experimenting in private, by whispering "whats a girl like me gotta do" and the like and I've actually been good on the results. In truth Aria was a name I thought up on the spot as I was typing my initial post, I've veen calling myself that name for the past little while and I like it.

Welcome to Susan's Place. Most of us were where you are once upon a time but I am an exception because cell phones were at least 20 years in the future when I came out. The nerves and fears were the same and the few who didn't experience it are those who came out very young. We are here to proved any information we can to aid you and provide a safe place for you to explore your feeling. Should you have any questions, feel free to ask.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Roses and Songs

Hello Aria, what a wonderful name you chose. ''Aria: in music was originally an expressive melody.'' You know what, I see it exactly like you. With internet I can come and go as I please, no questions asked and no one expecting me at 6 for supper! I love this place, you can talk about anything trans related or not like music, film, check the latest news, etc, etc and you only get involved to a level that suits your heart so welcome and remember, here you can be who you are, completely, all the time.

                                         Peace and happiness, love, Rose.

W-wow... I'm honestly touched. I think I'm really gonna like it here. Thanks everyone for the support. Hopefully I can come out in RL as I've been able to do here. Thank you thank you thank you.

And Rose, thanks for the compliment on the name. I was worried about it but now I'm sure it fits.

Welcome, Aria!

This is honestly one of the most helpful resources I've found, as I've come out and come to grips with my true self over the last three months.   The people here are amazing, friendly, welcoming, and have a wealth of experience.  I hope you enjoy the site, and get as much from it as you need.

Nice to meet you Aria. This is great/safe place for self-discovery. There is so much great information here you might need  a cell phone with a bigger screen! I want to wish you the best! Cheers!

Welcome Aria.  I lived with this secret for the last 40+ years.  Even though it's not coming out in real life, it is a weight off the shoulders.  I never imagined being able to talk to anyone, ever about this.

This place a safe, supportive environment filled with great people.  I think you'll like it here.

Look forward to chatting again :-)

Thank you everyone for the support! I know I'm spamming this a little but I just got the restrictions off my profile and just set it all up so... What do you all think?

As a long time pokemon fan I think a humanized version of Mega Absol is best as a representation of myself. It is mostly for the fact that it's my favorite and its ability magic bounce which protects it against none damaging status moves. Pretty much its my way of saying, "Short of actually hitting me, nothing anyone says or does can hurt me." ... Is that a tad too personal?
