It is....ALIVE!!!

So I've been trying to play DCS and War Thunder on my Win 7 laptop (bought used at a pasn shop about 3 years ago)...

That was a slightly painful experience...all settings at their lowest and still the fps wasn't enough to give me any indication of my usual "landings" (stall + spin, rapid uncontrolled decent and eventual collision with the ground).

I haven't played either game in several months, because I decided to DIY a gaming computer! After reading a lot of how-to sites, watching many YouTube videos, I had a shopping list of video card, motherboard, SSD's, etc. It took these past months to acquire all the parts, and two nights ago I...was....able...to...press...the....POWER BUTTON!!!

And IT WORKED! Got everything set up, both SSDs and the HDD identified, formatted, and etc.
