So my learner's permit for my driver's license just came in, and now that I'm finally out actually driving, I can say that it's a very relaxing thing for me. I don't know about other people, but sitting behind that steering wheel brings me to a new sense of Nirvana. I don't know if there's anyone that can relate - or understand what I'm talking about, but when I was out and about, even though my mother was next to me, I felt purely at solace, it was an absolutely great feeling. I wasn't even bothering to barrel down the road or haul it, I was just cruising, and yet it was the most blissful thing I'd ever done ever. I don't know - is there anyone that feels the way I do? Is there anyone that can truly say they sympathize?
Seventeen and strung out on confusion,
Seventeen and coming clean for the first time,
no mom and dad will never understand,
what's happening to me.

I'm not old enough to drive a car, but I had a similar feeling when I was flying last weekend. I was in the cockpit of a Grob tutor with a RAF pilot (I was there with air cadets), it was my first time and it felt so good... And when I got to control the plane for a few minutes it was even cooler. I really want to be a pilot when I'm older now hehe
