In the past, I assumed that that the best indicator of pass is the reaction of strangers. But then I came across the fact that such this criterion depends very much on the society's enlightenment. So, In Russia, I'm perceived 100% as a woman in all situations. But in Thailand, probably all people (both Thai and foreign) identified me as a ladyboy. So I'm too picky about the details of my appearance.

Something I did when I was going through my insecure phase:
I got a handful of shots of myself (different angle close ups, at the beach in my bikini, in the park wearing jeans and a couple nice outfits) and put them on one of those rank my photo sites. After a thousand or so votes I was surprised to see I got my share of "8's" and "9's," even a couple "10's." The shots that didn't show how flat I was always did better but overall I came in at a just over a "6." Sort of the "blend into the crowd cute" I was hoping was how people saw me.

This really helped my self image. I'm not uber girly or into makeup and I never kidded myself I was a beauty. It was good to find out how a group of people who had no reason to spare my feelings or inflate my ego saw me. Thinking about it this was probably a pretty extreme test. I mean most of the girls on the site are basically attractive- who posts their picture on a site like that for people to tell them they're ugly?

You're right. I hadn't any removal treatment. I try to shade this lack with makeup. (Obviously not very successful. )
That's why I'm still insecure during the daytime.

You should be able to link em easily with the [img] code as long as you have them uploaded someplace.
Tapatalk app for mobile simplifies it greatly by just having an attachments feature. (although far limited compared to advanced bbcode options.)

Even with careful shaving, there is a noticeable gray shadow. It's not masked by conventional makeup means. And the use of high pigmented makeup results to an unnatural view in daylight conditions. All unnatural attracts the attention of others. Accordingly, people look closely and already discovering other flaws in your appearance.

True. Which hair removal technic do you prefer for face?
I use to epilate my legs and use cream for armpit, but have no experience with face (just shave).

If you are serious about it, I think IPL or laser is the best. A less permanent solution is a face epilator.

PS: I know a good place where they do laser if you are in the country and interested.

Face epilator is too painful, isn't it? The vax is less painful.

IPL is likely to only thin the hair. That's what it did for me anyway. Some hairs were just do stubborn to be killed off by the IPL. I have now started laser. On the positive side, since the IPL thinned the beard hair down, laser doesn't hurt much at all.

You can do IPL with a home unit. It will only be about 1/3 to 1/4 the power of a Dr office kind.

I have a Remington home IPL. It did do some good. I may have spent enough on the bulbs to pay for one laser session. When I first started my IPL was painful enough it had me in tears. After a few monthly treatments it became way less painful because it was thinning the hairs down. After about 6 months it no longer had any effect on the remaining hairs. That required starting laser treatments.

I did 3 sessions of IPL on my face (and other areas, but I won't get into that) and it did absolutely nothing to thin out my facial hair.  I did 1 session of laser and it hurt, I now have 5% lidocaine numbing cream for next time.  I've already noticed a good amount of my facial hair gone since my first laser session. I go in next week for my second session and I'm so excited that it's (hopefully) working for me!

Face epilator is too painful, isn't it? The vax is less painful.

Both can be painful, especially the first time and if the facial hair is dense. I guess a normal epilator used on the face hurts more then using a face epliator. I think your face will be red for a while with both methods.

You are probably right about skipping the IPL.
I used to apply toothache cream to my face a half hour before doing the IPL. Maybe I just got lucky that it worked some for me. All I know is I didn't need any painkillers for my laser sessions.
I need another laser now but finances haven't made that possible yet. It sucks as my shadow is strong on my mustache area but very thin everywhere else. I've done 3 laser treatments up till now.

Yes, as you said yourself, the 3rd picture is the best. That's because you are looking straight ahead with a big smile. Eye contact and a big smile helps everyone pass better because it's what natal women do. They are socially conditioned to smile a lot, and it's one of the things that trans women need to learn to do automatically as well in order to pass. Smile!
