The T-shirt with the black sleeves draws attention to your shoulders.  It is a very masculine style, worn by male athletes specifically to emphasize the shoulders.

The belted dress in the last picture is my favourite.  The belt gives some definition to your hips.

Yeah, I'm not sure the different colored arms do my shoulders any good. I'm having trouble finding lightweight shirts that look feminine on me, though.

...and the belt should be on your waistline, which for women is above your navel😊

I'm wearing a Hanes Nano T shirt for Ladies, sized small.  It is semi-fitted and less boxy than mens/boys T shirts.  And a large Boys pair of shorts.  Flip flops complete the outfit.  It shows a fair amount of skin, which is typical these days, but not too much, since I have salt and pepper hair.  I could go a size smaller to highlight the flat stomach, but they don't make that T shirt in XS.  :o

Does anyone have any input on how masculine my body type is? I'm afraid it looks too top-heavy, and it would be hard to not just look like a man wearing ill-fitting women's clothing... obviously the middle one I posted looks bad, but I'm not entirely certain about the others.

I've gotten some female clothes now, so I wanted to get some opinions on them and my body shape. Obviously, you can't tell if I pass or not with just some still images with my head cut out, but maybe someone call tell me if I'm committing some fashion crimes or something.

This is probably my best outfit, so I took a lot of pictures. I think it does a decent job of keeping my top half from looking too wide. I think the gloves also make my hands look smaller.
@Lucca
Hi Lucca
You've asked for honest feedback in order to improve your look so I think its only fair to write honestly.
IMO - You do look a bit top heavy, but I see an obvious solution to 3 problems that are barriers to a nice shape. If you could lose a bit of weight, you could
1) reduce a bit of weight from the top
2) lose the tummy, the belt is in the wrong position and its actually highlighting your tummy sticking out - a big fashion no. Losing the tummy will look good AND feminine at all angles PLUS you could also wear a cincher (corset) in order to pull your waist in further. Its impossible to wear a cincher if your too big in this area - now maybe you're not interested in that BUT its an option you could have.
3) losing weight will actually give you the template you need to pick clothes that accentuate a feminine form, I can't help feeling that in your attempt to hide your wider shoulders and larger upper body your forcing yourself to wear dowdy clothes that hide your shape rather than feminine clothes that show off your figure...

I recently lost 30 pounds using optifast shakes, one of the reasons was to look better in my clothes and for some dress's i want to buy.

Definitely wear skirts that flare quickly to give yourself wider looking hips ( you can also wear hip shapers for this area)

Fit and flare dress's are something to look into.

The gloves are actually drawing attention to your hands, but they do make them look a bit smaller - in a casual setting they're fine, otherwise they might look a bit weird in summer.

I hope this helps some,

Sonja.

Thanks, that's all helpful. I've tried waist cinchers, but it's hard to not see them under clothes, and I can't keep them from giving me fat rolls at the top.

An often overlooked part of foundation wear (corsets/wiast cinchers) is that you wear a slip over them/under your clothing.  It smooths the look of the corset and any bulging that they create.  Fair warning that layering up like that will get warm, but will produce the look you're going for.  In my experience, most dresses will fit better with the addition of a slip underneath.  It allows the dress to drape better, with less bunching when you move, sit, stand.  Not to mention that a quality slip will feel a lot better than the courser fabric of the dress, and keep you from having to dry clean/wash them so often.  Hope it helps.  :)

Me over the weekend with quick daytime makeup on. This was one day post-electrolysis on the areas to the sides of my chin, and those areas were pretty swollen in this pic. Otherwise, this is generally how I can look with a bit of cosmetics. No filters, natural light. No wig - I'm waiting on a custom topper which will hopefully be ready by the end of next month or the beginning of October.

in my opinion you can train your self into looking and passing as a female.

My 11 year old mtf is very natural as a girl, mybe trough hrr young age and not in puberty yet.

But here is an organisation they do beauty contests for  young girls betweem 10 and 16 years old they have also training programs for these girls to become very feminine, ive seen results from them on training the girls the older girls are so traind into feminity the look like dolls, every thing cimes together hair makeup clothing it's so nuce to see..
They begin in september again and i push my mtf also into it.

You 'push' your 11 year old child into 'beauty contests'? With gender stereotypes? Girls looking 'like dolls'. Are you serious?

Yes it's populair by some girls here, our neightbour daughter does it as well.
But the girls eho do this are natural born girls, in the past the organisatiin have
had an other transgirl too and they are welcome as they are intrested.
i push my mtf into it beacuase its good for her that she can work on her feminity
and also on social contact with other girls.

I'm not going to derail this thread, but I think you should look deeper into what you are doing. As a parent and as a social worker, I find the concept disturbing.

An 11 year old child is not a doll. They can make friends in the park or on the beach, or wherever, and it doesn't involve hairspray and make up or catwalks, or being 'pushed' into anything.

Beauty pageants for children are indicative of a sick world, run by twisted individuals. Any adult with an interest in judging a child's 'beauty' or 'femininity' should be nowhere near children. People are not 'dolls'. Dolls are not people.

I hope your child finds peace of mind, and makes real friends. Not competitors, but friends. And is not steeped in outdated gender stereotypes, cultivated and judged and prized by adults.

Your child may be trans and therefore a she. He may be gay. He may be neither. Whether it's he or she, they're not going to be helped by being lacquered and paraded around. An 11 year old is very much a child.

It looks to me as is English is not Claire's primary language and "push" may not really be the word she's looking for.

I think possibly she meant that she supports and encourages her daughter and enjoys seeing her enjoy social interaction among other girls - n'est-ce pas?

To me you're in that androgynous zone. Don't worry though. It takes time for changes to happen. I hate to look back on pictures from a year ago or so. I was happy then , but I feel so much better now and things keep improving.  It's a long process. Be patient
