I just contacted an FFS surgeon who wants me to send him pics for evaluation. He sent me directions on pic angles but I'm not sure how to take some of them.  Does anyone have any advice for taaking pics?

They usually want a full frontal pic, a left and right oblique (just look into the camera then turn your head 45 degrees and take the pic),  a left and right profile pic, and a pic that is taken under your chin so that it shows the bridge of your nose (just hold the aperature of the camera under your chin and take the pic) and some surgeons want a picture with your lips puckered together. Also surgeons prefer pictures without makeup, your hair pulled away from your face, and no smiling. Hope this helps 😊

Its best to keep the camera 2-3 m away from you - no selfies! Use a proper camera if possible with a automatic shutter or let someone else take the pictures - frontal, profile and if possible at a 45° angle. Do this on the right and left. Always look straight ahead, not in the camera when doing the profile and 45° shot. No makeup. Look relaxed - not smiling but also no pressure otherwise. Get a hairband or something similar to keep your hair out of your forehead - no bangs or such, expose your hairline.

Thank you for your help!

I'm so scared my face is too masculine, but hopefully Dr Dimaggio can help.

Don't worry; a chisel, a saw, some duct tape, bailing wire, and a little bit of elbow grease can work miracles. 😉
