Sorry for the lenght but I wanted to tell yall what I have been going through. My transitioning has affected my ability to wear most of my male jeans and undies. I have currently been taking my hormones and blockers for 6 1/2 months now.  I am aware I am going through puberty again but I was reminded yesterday that it's not just my nipples that have become swollen.  Yesterday morning I was weeding my flowerbed and was wearing a pair of my old denim jeans.  Now I wore a 36W-32L for years but was pleasantly surprised when they didn't fit like they used too.  I had to cinch my belt 2 notches tighter as my waist must be about 34 or 33 inches. Also my butt and thighs were very snugly squeezed into the fabric. Especially my fuller thighs made the regular cut jeans nearly skintight.  I realized I must really be packing on the fat in my lower body while my waist must have slimmed down a little. I guess that's fat redistribution for ya. Also my boxers tend to bunch up around my thighs now and my too tight male briefs had been replaced with brief cut cotton panties. I hadn't expected this so soon in my transition nor was I expecting what happened next. I was squatting down to pick some weeds when I heard and felt the seat of my jeans give way.  I mean it was right down the middle and my luck I had on my bright pink and white panties underneath.  I quickly tried covering up but at least two neighbors saw my misfortune. Alas I am still not "out" to everyone I know and my neighbors are among those folks.  So when I them staring at my panties on display I almost cried from  embarrassment. The lady had a smirk upon her face  while her husband looked at me with apparent disgust.  I meekly tried to cover my butt by walking backwards to the door.  Oh well though because at this point I need to accept some people will always judge me.  That evening my partner bought me 3 pairs of women's jeans size 12T.  I must say that the women's jeans fit much better. The thighs and butt area have more fabric than the male type, and the waist sat a bit higher on my torso too.  My partner agrees my ass is filling out nicely and compliments my thickened thighs.  I can even see my waist quite clearly contrasted against my lower bodies curves. I did donate my male jeans to a local charity so I guess that a positive too. If anything this has taught me to pay closer attention to what is going on with my body during HRT.  So far I feel very pleased with my endeavor. I hope the next 6 months are even more amazing.  Peace out yall.

One of the most fun things about HRT seems to be the new wardrobe required for 'adjustments'.  Congratulations, I think. :)
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Welcome to the joys of shopping. With all the clothing options, you will be able to discover which clothes look best on you. I still remember donating all the jeans and t-shirts I had, when my hormones did their work.

Just wait til you have a couple dozen pairs of shoes. 😂

Welcome to Susan's place. Thank you for an enjoyable greeting which all of us can empathize with. All of us have felt our clothing fit differently and have seen the look on somebodies face. My body never developed sufficiently to have a fashion failure but I tried on some older stuff that should have fit and it no longer did. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Hi Chrissy;
I had a similar experience to you recently. Although not the embarrassment with the panties.  i  have been back on HRT for about 3.5 years and live about 90% of my time as female, only  reverting (or cross dressing as my therapist says) to male dress when I have to meet particular customers. Recently I had to give a presentation as male. Anyway I was dressed in my best male suit and up on a podium using a laser pointer to highlight some items on a Powerpoint screen presentation, when I placed the pointer on the podium and it rolled off it and fell to the floor. Not thinking straight I reached down and then heard  a ripping sound (also heard by the audience) as the  fabric was drawn tightly against my now rounded buttocks (I have added 2.5" to my buttocks and they now project outwards ), and my trousers split from waistband to crotch in a ripping sound.  Luckily that was the last slide and the end of my speech and I indicated that  needed to rush to the bathroom and exited crab like sideways off the stage and headed for reception  seeking a safety pin.

Now these days I can only wear  women's pants or skinny jeans  (when forced to present as my male self) as my newly developed curves just don't  assist me in presenting as male. Mind you most male shirts and jackets  don't fit either  as I now have 44B going on C Cup breasts, whereas Women's blouses and typos are  made with female curves in mind.

This sounds almost like the opposite of a problem. To be honest I cannot wait until I have a body that no longer fits male clothes

Eat a lot of healthy fats when you start hrt...caloric surplus to gain weight.  Be on hrt for awhile then lose the weight.  You generally keep the fat distribution shape you want it to be when you gain then lose.
