Hello all. I was just wondering if anyone in the Miami area had any recommendations for places to get Electrolysis done, I've heard of some places with Free consultations but havent seen that. Any tips would be great. Also, is electrolysis permanent? I heard of some people going to hair removal for years.

Thanks

I can't recommend a shop but anyone who does electrolysis should give you a 15 minute Q&A session and do a few hairs so you know what it's like. Electrolysis is permanent and I haven't had a beard in over 30 years but there are a few escapees that show up every so often. There aren't enough for me to bother with a session to remove them so I just cut or pluck them depending on my mood. As for the amount of treatment time, it will depend on what you need to remove. I didn't have a heavy beard but it took around 200 hours to remove it. Strange as it may seem, a corse black beard is less dense and may require less time because there are fewer hairs. In the Q&A session you should get an estimate on the hours but it can be more or less when you are treated. I had the blend which left my face clean and scar free but for some, the galvanic may be more desirable.
