I'm curious to know if any guys here have their chest tattooed and had DI. Wanted to know how long you waited to get it done, how it felt, your overall experience. I'm thinking of getting a large piece around the incisions just to kind of hide them a bit (I'll be a year post op in a few days). Share your pics if you'd like!!!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

I spoke with my tattoo artist about this during my last visit. He said I'm good to go now (post-op maybe a month longer than you). If I could stop breaking out on my chest, it would have been started by now :(

Yup. See profile pic.  Also, I'd decided against having my nipples reattached; my nips are tats as well. I waited a good year before I went in for ink.

Sorry I'm late to the party, for lack of a better term. I just had top surgery, how soon would be too soon to get a consult for a chest piece? Obviously not right away, I need things to heal but what would you guys consider "pushing it"?

I would ask your surgeon to be on the safe side.

Thanks, I had my post-op already but I know I can easily send her a message or just wait until my next follow up.

I think a year and a half will be enough for post op. period. You should consult a doctor before deciding anything. Have you chosen the tattoo you want to have? Here's a huuuge choice of chest tats) enjoy) https://tattoozza.com/mens-tattoo
