Jelly

Hi, to everyone.

I am new to identifying as transgender, new to transitioning, and new to a whole lot of other things. I knew that there was something in me that wanted to get out but I didn't connect the dots until a few months ago. 41 is still young, so I decided to be honest with myself, with my therapist and with my family. I must have been brutally honest because I am on the 3rd day into taking hormones and feeling great. I am trying to remain patient about the effects of hormones over a short period of time but I am excited.

I am nervous of course but now that I am on this journey, I am looking forward to the years ahead. I haven't dropped all my male clothes and presented myself as female to the world but that will come in time. I plan on changing my name to Grace. A friend said I should change my middle name to Jelly. I am still thinking that one over.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
