Could anyone tell me about your experiences with talking....err...with breast implants? Saline, silicone, shape, etc? I notice a large percentage of BA patients seem to go for 375-450, although there are larger (and smaller) implants available.

And prices, if you're willing to share. One price range I've seen suggested is from $5k-$8k USD. Is that an accurate range today?

Price range may be a little high but it depends on your location.

Under muscle implants add volume if you already have some size.  Saline is fine as no one is ever going to play with those.  Standard implants add volume to the breast tissue.  Silicone feels more natural.

I was a 40D.  At 6'1"+ they still were a little small.  I went with 650 mL under muscle implants.  Brought me to a 44DD/F.  That is in proportion to my oversized body but it really is troublesome and expensive to find bras andclothes that fit well.  There was mild pain for 4-6 months.  Almost a year before full restoration of muscle function.  Those are big under muscle implants.

Really helped with passing and acceptance.  I'm glad I did it.

Im new to these forums but more than willing to share my experience to help a sister out.  I had my breasts done about a year and half ago and love my new figure.  As for size range to chose that is something that is best discussed with your surgeon as he/she will be able to suggest a proper size implant that will give you the volume you desire but also look proportional to your body type. However if you want to go all out and get some Pam Anderson breasts more power to you. My doctor also warned me that if I chose an implant too large for my chest cavity that I risked having the breasts sitting farther apart than they should.  Based on my pre implant breast size I was a full A , and my body type I opted for a 350 Silicone sub pectoral implant and now have full beautiful 36C /34D ( Victoria's Secret vanity sizing lol) breasts .  but again I stress  that the decision about what size to get and how large of an implant to get is up to your discretion and the advice from your surgeon. As for the price ,  you are right in the target range for what I paid. My doctor quoted me at $7,800 if I paid by Care Credit or $7,100 if I paid by cash or personal check. I paid by check.  I know there are doctors out there who offer much lower prices but I am extremely wary , and again I am no professional. All I know is rarely anything in life that is good is cheap and anything that is cheap is good.  That's my 2 cents hope it offered you some insight.

You should choose a size that looks like you grew them yourself. Anyone with plus-sized breast implants always look so fake to me, and uncomfortable, and dangerous. And not very pretty. I am only speaking on what I observe in others as I have not had any work done to myself. When I was still being a boy, I was embarrassed by my breast size, now I am thrilled to be a natural 38C!

Having been extremely fortunate with my natural growth i do not have implants HOWEVER having larger breasts definitely helped with confidence and self satisfaction so i would very much go for as big as you like.

I got mine done ....I was naturally 32b and my surgeon chose 450cc round silicone moderate plus for me which brought me to 32DD. I wanted the 350ccs but she suggested 450 to lessen the gap between them. I am extremely happy with the selection and believe they don't look too fake in clothes. My incision was via armpit. Generally the implant type and size should be selected bases on: ribcage width, Breast diameter, shoulder width, upper pole fullness, Hip width.

ideal implant selection should make you look fuller in the breast area without being too far apart, giving upper pole fullness and good projection without making one look top heavy.

Riya, I am so jealous! You have my dream height and figure!! But it is what it is, as "they" say. $6300 is very doable too... I would like the name of the dr and clinic, if you don't mind.
