I am trying to find resources that have breakdown of various surgeons
(Very much like
tssurgeryguide.com)
I am looking for info on SRS only
Technique- including anything unique about technique that would vary from the basic penile inversion or colon technique, 1 or 2 stages etc
Recovery Time- How long in hospital/clinic + hotel stay
Price- procedures costs, accommodations, hospital, food etc
Location- private clinic, hospital, in city or out, Country, etc
Pros/Cons- sensitivity, aesthetics, depth, recovery time, higher/lower risks, how far booked out.
Insurance- Openness to work with insurance, any contracts, one time agreements, officially opted out.
Background, certifications, frequency, number of surgeries
Does all surgeries- Yes/No/Team dynamics etc
Preference sorting for outcomes- typical priorities like sensation, aesthetics, depth, recovery.
Willingness to perform multiple surgeries at same time- FFS, BA etc.
Special notes/known for
Ease of scheduling
Knowledge of nursing staff
I'm basically trying to find as much quantifiable information as possible to create a spreadsheet for sorting with vin diagram like logic.
A tool to get myself and any others to a shortlist, where the qualitative experiences snd preferences can be researched.
For instance my personal goal is to get a shortlist of 3 surgeons here in the states that would potentially take medicare. I also want a shortlist for international surgeons for my out of pocket budget in case I am dissatisfied with options hit a roadblock with insurance in the states.
My personal preferences are ( in order)
Consistent Results
Sensation
Aesthetics- As close to what could be found in nature/anatomically correct
Self lubricating
Depth (deeper than average)
Availability
Recovery Time
Cost
I would love any input on the aspects of
Special Features (hoe special and in what situations is it worth opting for)
Price: at what point do you see diminishing returns- again when is the highest price worth it)
Special considerations- surgeons for limited skin, scarring, extra skin/foreskin, dealing with chronic illness etc)
Basic Pros/Cons for various techniques
Penile inversion
Colon graph
Scrotal graph
Etc
I have yet to find a source that would make finding a surgeon more of a decision tree ( up to a certain point) and cutting through antidotal evidence/opinions/advertised results/technique.
I get that it's a lot of preference, but it seems like that preference should be able to be narrowed down to much smaller selection early on.
Thanks in advance everyone!
PS if I completely overlooked a resource that does most/all of this already please let me know)
Hugs!
