Testosterone levels in blood

I know the goal for testosterone levels for a FTM is 300-1000. My blood test showed 691 for my testosterone.

Now I know my blood levels for testosterone for in the range for the wanted testosterone but I have one concern.

My doctor appointment was on a wednesday, that's the day of the week that I get my shot. Since my appointment was super early in the morning, I didn't get my shot until after my appointment. I know that testosterone levels are at their lowest right before the shot and at their highest right after the shot. So with 691 being my lowest, that doesn't leave much room for my highest point. Is this fine? I'm not too sure what the difference would be before and after my shot so I would like to make sure it's at a good level.

My old doctors plans were to double my dosage every week(but he never did any blood tests, not even before writing my prescription!) so my new doctor will be making her own decisions. I was looking forward to a dosage increase because I've been seeing changes at my current dose so a higher dose would show even more changes(unless too high and then it'd be converted to estrogen). If my levels are at 691, should I expect to stay at my current dosage?

Again, I have a new doctor who will be taking over my HRT and I will not do anything she doesn't tell me to do, but I'm just curious. Also, if you know how much the testosterone levels increase after a shot is given, I'd love to know!

I don't know enough about the half life of injected testosterone or estrogen in the body to be able to answer questions about decay and peek levels. Maybe I need to do a bunch more internet searching to see what I can learn. I do know that the drugs have a body half life so it takes several dosage to reach your steady state. From the little I have seen so far, your levels look great and you shouldn't have problems with testosterone converting to estrogen. I suspect the doctor will leave your levels where they are but should there be an adjustment, it would be very small.

I am back from surfing the web. It appears the half life of injected testosterone is 8 to 12 days. This would mean your upper limit would be about 1200 but could be lower if you have a half life of 12 days. As I said before, it looks like you are in the sweet spot as far as dosage is concerned.

I'd make sure to let your doctor know that you did your shot right after your appointment. That is right about where my levels were after my hysterectomy at the end of my shot cycle, and I did end up going down in dose.
