Prompted by a conversation Atom & Sno were having in another thread I propose the following ideas.
Either:
Those of us who are close enough to others get together for a potluck supper.
Or:
We do much the same but use the same range of times to have several simultaneously and connect them through the chat room.
Horribly difficult to coordinate, I know, but magnificent if we can pull it off!
